Meyer Halloween 2013

We started with a little costume party with Maeryn's JK class.
Lots of Disney characters, here was Ariel, Rapunzel and our own little Jessie!

Maeryn's table pals - so cute!

Maer with her friends, a scary witch and a very sassy Pocahontas!
More spooky, yet adorable friends!

Back at the house getting ready for our BIG night!

Halloween Costume Selfies!
Dressed and ready to go trick or treating - a little rain wasn't going to stop us!

 YEE HAW!

Johnny and my favorite halloween candy... KitKat!

 time to go...

One of those moments where you just want to freeze time
so they stop getting any bigger than they are right now...
We ran in to our next door neighbors Cooper and Austin while we were out
so we finished the night with them!
 Here's their crazy dad, Chris!
He said his costume was his high school senior picture - hahaha!!
 Precious!

 Yikes...
He looks like a very angry park ranger (who's hat has been be-dazzled!).
Another awesome Halloween!
We are already trying to decide what to be next year... :-)

The next Yadi!

Love living next door to active boys!
We're going to tom-boy this girl up one way or another.
(however, notice the shoes she's wearing... baby steps.)

Spooky Jammies!

Who doesn't love glow in the darn skeleton pajamas?
We kept turning out the light to try and take a picture of them...
(obviously, he was not crazy about all that)
...this is how the picture turned out = FAIL.

She doesn't have it half bad either...

While I'm bragging about our awesome day care people I can't leave out
Maeryn's phenominal Junior K teachers, Ashleigh and Jessie,
and we are pretty crazy about her whole school in general.
I continue to be blown away by how much Maeryn is learning on a daily basis
and she tells me all the time how much she loves school and is so excited about learning in general.
She knows how to read and write ALL of her letters, sounds words out and is actually starting to spell and read some words on her own.  She knows days of the week, months of the year, seasons, etc. She knows some spanish words too and is also working on math skills!
Again, we are very lucky to have found a great school for Maeryn and wonderful teachers that she loves.

I took a day off earlier this Fall and got to attend a class field trip with Maeryn to the Pumpkin Patch.
The best part about field trips?
THE BUS!
Here's Maer with her buddy Peyton.
 Pretty girl!

So fun to see her in her own world playing and having fun with all of her friends.

 Getting SO big!
Maeryn and Morgan = Best Friends!

WCDS Junior K 2013!

One lucky boy!

It's official, Johnny has the best babysitter ever!
Debbie is great in soooo many ways, but one of my favorite things about her is
when she randomly sends me text messages with pictures of whatever fun things
she and the kiddos happen to be doing that day.
It completely brightens my day and I love seeing how much fun he is having with his friends!

Here are some great shots of our little buddy that Debbie has shared with me over the last year:

This was sometime last Spring, I mean, how cute are these babies?!

Also last Spring... on one of their outings. :-)

Johnny with Gracie, one of Debbie's granddaughters.
He's such a lovie!

At naptime Debbie puts all the kids' shoes on the counter while they sleep.
So cute!

Playtime at the park!

The text message this day simply said, "Today's science lesson"...
This family of turkeys were just walking by in their backyard!

This was a week or so ago, on another outing to Target.
They look thrilled!

And finally... last Friday.
Like I said, best babysitter ever.
Look how happy this guy is!
