God Bless America! (2014)

4th of July 2014 was probably one of our most fun days in our neighborhood ever!
We started the day with a Countryshire parade led by the Wentzville FD.
Maeryn and Johnny decked out their cars in as much red, white and blue as we could find,
and even Big Kev was in a festive mood for the holiday.

The parade started in the pool parking lot.
I've never seen so many excited neighbors gathering together to celebrate!

And Johnny and Kevin got the special treat of riding in the fire truck for the whole parade!

After the parade, back at the pool parking lot, more fun times with friends.
The Kona Ice truck came and everyone got to make their own snow cones!

Johnny and his buddy Emma reunited!

Johnny Cool Guy.

Later that afternoon we had a big party with all the neighbors!

Someone was super excited...

It was a potluck BBQ, and there was food galore!

And the kiddos loved every minute of it.

I think the big kids had fun too.

We had music, and a mic so the kids had fun singing and dancing along.

And then came the GAMES!

These two were happy just to kick a ball around (as usual).

Scooter races!

Ready, set, GO!

I think Johnny ate about 36 cookies that day.

Love her!

Tug-a-War!

(hey johnny, might want to get out of the way, buddy.)

Washers Tournament!

Team Meyer-Clanton = Winners!

What a fun day!!
We love our neighborhood, can't wait till 4th of July 2015!
