Johnny Mac is 5 Months Old!

John 5 Months - Jan 22!
We were home with a yucky cold and an ear infection but he was still the same smiley, playful, happy guy! He loves to roll from side to side and we have to keep an eye on him now because he's gotten pretty mobile with it. He lights up whenever Maeryn is in the room and loves to watch his sister do just about anything. And last night he taught us a new kissing technique - he smashes his face in to yours and tries to eat it.
He's pretty awesome!

Even More Disney!

Yep, there's more!
Here ya go...
Epcot:
We were ready for another awesome day at the park.
We were lucky enough to meet some of our favorite characters right when we walked in.
Daisy Duck
And Goofy!
Next we checked out the Finding Nemo ride and exhibit

The Nemo experience was really cool,
there was a ride, Crush the talking sea turtle, aquariums and more!

Marlin, Nemo and Dori
Later in the day we ventured to all the different countries in Epcot
and ran in to some more characters along the way.
We saw Alice in England.
Belle was in France,
and she was almost as adorable as Rapunzel was...
Totally true to character and just so cute!

Waiting in line, on the fringe of a melt-down, but still smiling.
Last visit of the day, Aladdin and Jasmine in Morocco!
While we took their pictures, Johnny was konked out in my shoulder carrier
and Aladdin said he needed one of those for his monkey, Abu! :-)

Last day at Disneyworld.  :-(
We went back to the Magic Kingdom again,
there was still so much more we hadn't seen or done there yet...
First stop was to meet Merida - the newest Disney Princess from the movie Brave.
As we waited in the LONG line, we looked over the map and started planning out our day.
We made friends with one of the park attendants while we waited too,
she was smitten with baby Johnny, and little did we know at the time,
but she would become a very special person to us that day.
Maeryn and Merida
After Maeryn met Princess Merida, our new friend, Donna (in the navy blue coat below),
took Maeryn by the hand and gave her a "Magical Moment"...
We were all a little confused at the time, but before we knew it
Donna was taking Maeryn in to the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique and to get her Pixie Dust
(sparkly glitter in her hair) and then she personally escorted her to the front of each line
to meet SEVERAL more characters throughout the park!
The awesome part was, these were all people and places we had planned on
going to see anyway, but what would have probably taken us several hours, only took us one.
Donna said she wanted us to have a great experience and with two small kids she knew
we most likely wouldn't last all day... so she took matters in her own hands and
gave Maeryn the most Magical Moment ever!
Thank you Donna!!!
Pixie Dust at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique
Looking good Maeryn, ready to meet some characters girlie!
First stop, the beautiful Princess Tiana.

Then we saw Cinderella's evil step-mother and step-sisters - they were hilarious!
They talked to Maeryn first and again, totally true to character, they acted very rude and snotty.
I was standing back a little bit with Johnny in the stroller
and Drisella said, "bring that baby over here so we can see it."  So I did.
Then, in her snarky tone, she sounded totally surprised and said,
"oh.  that's actually a really cute baby."  ...Uh, thank you? :-)
We are big in to Cinderella right now and Maeryn loved meeting them!
The next stop with Donna was the Fairy Nook.
Maer was Tinkerbelle for Halloween this year, so this was another big moment for her!

Tinkerbelle and her sister Periwinkle were just too cute!

Next was Peter Pan
Then we headed back to fantasyland, and went in to Ariel's Grotto.
By this time Maeryn had gotten really comfortable meeting these Disney idols.
She could have sat with Ariel all day and chatted with her!

The final stop on the Donna express was to meet Tigger and Pooh.
We parted ways after that but stopped to see Donna on our way out of the park,
we wanted to say good bye and thank her again - she really did make our day!

Maer and me, riding the Mad Hatter's Teacups!
There is a whole new part of the Magic Kingdom that opened up last fall.
It was all a part of the new fantasyland and included a Little Mermaid ride (and Grotto),
the dumbo ride and circus tent - which we did on our first day at the park,
a snow white ride (that still hasn't opened yet), and the Beauty and the Beast Castle.
We tried multiple times to check out the new castle,
but it must have been REALLY popular because the line was always crazy-long!
Outside of the Beast's castle was a cute area designed after Belle's village from the movie,
inside the little town was Gaston's Tavern:
Another new part of the Kingdom that was still under construction...
Look's like Rapunzel's tower to me!
After teacups, we hit up It's a Small World.
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Johnny could do just about every ride with us.
Obviously we weren't going near the big roller coasters,
so a lot of the rides we did were baby friendly!
Small World...

Next up, Jessie and Woody (from Toy Story).
Maeryn couldn't stop smiling and giggling!

John just stared in amazement!
After a brief nap, and lunch for Kevin and I,
we were back at it and had a fast pass for the Jungle Cruise.

Not real, but very fun anyway!
After the cruise, Kevin and Maeryn took a Magic Carpet Ride!
No fear of heights here, she just wanted to go higher and higher.
Last ride of the day, but one of our favorites: Peter Pan's Flight.
We forgot to take a picture in front of this landmark spot when we arrived
on our first day here, so we decided to take one on our way out instead.
Thank you for the awesome memories Disney - WHAT A TRIP!!!!
