Soccer Heaven in Baseball Heaven

May 27th, 2013
Cheslea FC vs Man City at Busch Stadium in St. Louis
This was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever been a part of.
St. Louis is obviously a very big baseball town,
and as many people know it's also a huge soccer town.
When word got out about this game happening at Busch, the soccer community went CrAzY!
Tickets were sold out in less than 10 minutes...
Kevin and I scored box seats with some good friends,
Kevin Lord, Justin Clanton and Tommy O'Donnell.

The stadium was PACKED with soccer fans,
what an experience, it really was soccer heaven in baseball heaven!

Naptime!

Maeryn is actually really good about taking naps everyday.
She knows the routine and rarely puts up a fight...

She was especially good about it on this particular day:

Drewpy Drawers

Well, that's what us Kenney kids call him anyway...
Most of America looks at my brother Drew in a completely different way these days,
one of the "bloggers" on The Bachelor/Bach'ette forum called him "Drewl Worthy".  Oh Geez!

Anyway, we sure are having fun watching him on this season of the Bachelorette.
And regardless of what happens when this is all over or what anyone out there thinks,
we are TEAM DREW until the end,
and there's no one that supports him more than his family and friends do!

Here are a couple of Drew's modeling pics:

And pics from our Bachelorette Premier Party:
(Thank you Jessie Lord for taking some of these!)

Pre-Party Set Up

Soooo wierd seeing my brother on TV!
Don't think we'll ever get used to that...
So much fun though, everyone cheered and hollared whenever we saw him on the screen.
Team Drew St. Louis was loud and proud!

Patooties!

Is there a better word to describe these two?
Total Cutie Patooties!
And they had the highest selling lemonade stand I've ever heard of...
Made NINETEEN BUCKS.

Rituals.

One of our summer morning rituals is to go to Quial Ridge Park
for a little trail run with the jogging stroller and then play at the playground.
This is definitely one of my FAVORITE things about summer.

One of Maeryn's favorite things is wearing dresses and leaving her hair down!
UGH.
Drives. me. crazy.

Another weekly ritual is library time!

SUMMER!

Summer kick-off dinner at Chic Fil A, first of many I'm sure.

Woohoo Summer!

John - 9 Months (geeeeez, I really am far behind!)

I know I'm biased, but how cute is this kid?!?!

The other day, out of the blue, Maeryn said to me,
"God gave me the best brother ever!"

Yes he did Maeryn, yes, he did.

Mother's Day Art

By far one of my absolute favorite things that has ever
come home from school with Maeryn!

I look pretty damn good for 70, right???

We came up with our own little mother's day projects for
Grandma and Nana and had so much fun creating these plates at Paint Me Pottery.

Go Blues!

Hellooooo... Is anybody home???

Oh, HI!!!
(insert blushy embarrased face)

Confession time...
As you know it's been a looooong time since my last post.
I'm completely overwhelmed by the thought of even attempting to get caught up.

But for you, I will try.
I hope your inbox is ready...

Here's one just for fun - Johnny Mac playing hide and seek.
(I may have already posted this one... I have no idea.  It's been way too long!)
