June 2010:
Thank you to all of my loyal followers!! It's hard to believe it's been a whole year already, my baby has grown soooo fast, she's walking and talking (sort of) and I just can't get enough of her. Thanks to this blog I can go back and revisit all of the awesome memories from the last 12 months over and over again, and trust me, I do! I heard about "blogging" from a friend who said it was a good way to keep family and friends updated on all of Maeryn's fun and exciting day to day adventures... Obviously, I took her advice and ran with it! But I didn't expect to find a hobby that I absolutely love... I find myself taking pictures of things I never would have thought to take pictures of just because I plan on posting them on the blog! I have had so much fun sharing all of our pictures and videos of everything from sitting on giant pumpkins to pudding painting to sleeping while eating. I have cherished every second I've spent with Maeryn over this last year and sharing them with you just helps make these moments that go by so fast, last just a little longer! Thank you for enjoying them with me, and I hope you're looking forward to many, many more...

January 2011:
As you can tell from the videos (I'm trying to get better about taking more video these days and not just pictures), our little girl is a total piece of work! I don't know what happened, but I blinked and all of the sudden she is talking in full sentences (I hear a new word from her every single day - today it was "cute") and I swear she thinks she is 19 months going on 3 years... Maeryn LOVES to read, dance, play with her toys, she takes swim lessons once a week, her favorite TV shows are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Handy Manny, she sleeps with her favorite baby and blankie every night but does not discriminate when it comes to her toys - she literally plays with ALL of them! Maeryn is a big-time hugger but also likes to pound fists on occasion and she often asks for me to call her favorite friends and family members on the phone so she can talk to them - it's the cutest thing ever! Don't let all of this fool you, she also has some major sass at times and this kid throws a mean temper-tantrum occasionally. As you can tell, Kevin and I are having a blast and feel like the luckiest parents ever! Thank you all for visiting our blog, hopefully you have enjoyed it half as much as I enjoy creating it... PS - can someone please make sure I take as many pictures of my next child b/c they are going to see this blog and have a real self-esteem issue if I don't keep this up for them! ;-)
