Colorado 4th of July!

This year for the 4th of July we flew to Fort Collins, CO
and had an amazing time with family.
This was the first time we had to buy a plane ticket for Maeryn... ouch!
She loves to fly though, and on the way home we watched the fireworks
in every small town along the way back to St. Louis out our airplane window.
One of the coolest sights I have ever seen.
Here is Maeryn and Kevin on the way to Colorado.
When we got there, Pops gave Maeryn one of her birthday presents,
a personalized book with his voice telling the story!
Here he is reading another family favorite to her: Giant Thunderbones
The whole crew out to lunch...
Uncle Chris & Aunt Shelly (with Ryan and Sam), Aunt Mary & Uncle Brian
(with Meghan), Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Marty (with Emily and Drew),
Cousin Erin (Uncle Matt's daughter), and my dad Mal III,
with my brother Mal IV, Kevin, Maeryn and me.
There are still several people not pictured here that attended the wedding,
and even more that didn't make the trip...  There is no shortage of Kenneys
that's for sure, and as my grandfather put it, this was all his fault!
 Dad and me.

One of the only pictures of just the two of us since Maeryn was born!
Later that night, at Uncle Matt's house.
Maeryn jumping on the trampoline with cousins John
and Erin (Uncle Matt's kids), and cousin Drew (Liz's son).
 Erin and Maeryn!
 Cousins are Awesome!
 Potts, Mal and Kevin.
I wonder what they were talking about...

Maeryn and Aunt Liz
The next day we went to an amusement park.
Maeryn & Aunts Liz and Mary watching everyone go-carting.
Our group used up just about every go cart the place had!
Maeryn got in her own driving experience...
That night was the wedding reception on an Island in the middle of a lake.
Maeryn and Pops getting ready to ride the pontoon boat to the island.

Party time, with Cousins Meghan and Erin.
 The island was soooo cool...
There were several loungey areas like this one, plenty
of places to sit and eat, a volleyball court surrounded by a huge net
to keep the ball from getting lost, a horseshoe pit,
great food, music and drinks...

...and  a giant floating trampoline about 50 yards from the shore,
where people could paddle boat or swim out to.
Those are my cousins, Meghan, Emily, Sam and Erin out there!
 4th of July!
After breakfast Maeryn and John (also known as Jack), played tag.
 Potts, Maeryn and Mal.
Smooches for Daddy.

Maeryn loved hanging with her cousins!
Park time with Uncle Mal in Estes Park,
part of the Rocky Mountain National Forest.
 The mountains...
