Pops Visit!

We loved having Pops stay with us last month when he was on a business trip.
Maeryn and Johnny got a kick out of spending some time with him in the evening.
Here's Maer explaining to Pops what will happen if Johnny eats crayons...
"He will poop colors... all different colors!"
 Nice photo-bomb Maer...
We love you Pops!

"PLEASE Mrs. Meyer... we will love you forever!"

That is how I was talked in to Face-Timing with Drew during class one day.
My freshman girls ask me about him just about every day,
and on this particular day, they finally broke me down.

And here was the result:
(poor guy never saw it coming)
You can't tell from the picture, but there were at least another 7-8 girls
standing behind us trying to get a glimpse of the super star himself!
It was a moment they will never forget I'm sure,
Thanks for playing along Drew!

An oldie but a goodie!

Going through pics from this fall and I don't think I ever posted these ones...
Absolutely love how she can entertain herself so easily!

What exactly are the child labor laws in our state?

I didn't even put them up to this, I swear!

Coincidence that Maeryn's "Jessie" boots and hat go great with her Cardinals outfit?

I think not!
If the boot fits...

Remember Mr. Peepers?

Mr. Peepers was an SNL character who would demolish an apple in bout 10 seconds...
I think we found the next Mr. Peepers!
We also discovered that apples are a genius cure to a cranky teething toddler.
We went from him throwing an absolute tantrum...
TO THIS in a matter of seconds:
After a far too long trip to the grocery store, mr. crabbo pants was beside himself.
I grabbed an apple, showed him how to bite in to it, put him in his chair...
and boom - magic!

He was even willing to share some of his new treat!

Baby Peepers!

Got Milk (jugs)?

Some kids like to play with keys or phones...
Not ours.
He likes, no LOVES milk jugs.
As soon as he sees the pantry is open, he makes a mad dash through the kitchen
to get his hands on his favorite toy (out of the recycle bin...)!

And LOOK... proof that there's not an actual shortage of toys in our house...
the kids just prefers his jugs!
They make great outside toys too - very durable.
We don't let him sleep with the jugs, although I'm sure he would love to.
Oh well, it could be worse, right?
