Trip to the Zoo

We had a great day at the zoo,

luckily we got there early so it wasn't too HOT yet!

The African Elephant walked right up to the edge of his cage to see us,

Maeryn loved it.

The Hippos were as playful as ever in their big water tank.

Took a break for a photo opp.

Pretty zebras enjoying the shade...

Giraffes and Ostriches lounging around.

We will definitely go back, Maeryn LOVES animals!

1st Birthday!!

Maeryn went the Magic House for her 1st Birthday.

She loved the water/music tubes,

Peaked in on the little birthday mouse,

She played in the baby ball pit,

made impressions in the pin wall,

and had fun with the doll house.

But her favorite was sliding down the BIG green slide!

Afterwards we went for some Ted Drewes!YUM!!

And watched the US Soccer Team play in the World Cup...

they lost to Ghana. :(

Maeryn had the best day,

but she was sooo tired after all the fun!

I tried all day to get some pictures of Maeryn in her cute tutu,

and the best ones I got were after she dug through my wallet

and had all my credit cards out all over the place...
