Checking off the list...

First stop on our Summer Fun list was the Magic House!
We've actually made this trip a couple times this summer since we are members
and there is just so much to do there that it really never gets old!
One of Maer's favorite rooms at MH is the art room!
It's the perfect place to be creative.
Probably her next fav is the Pet Care Place - it's a play Vet's Office.
So fun!
Our newest discovery was the Nursery.
Maeryn would make a great nurse!

With her little sidekick there to help too.

Didn't know our hair could get any crazier...  but apparently, YES it can!

Another new spot we ventured to for the first time was the outdoor play areas.
No idea why we never discovered this before, but Maeryn had a blast.

What a great day and awesome start to our summer!

Kenney Girls Big Night Out!

One of my favorite bands (besides DMB, of course) is the Zac Brown Band.
Seriously love them, and got the chance to go see them in concert with my aunts and cousin
back in June, one of the best shows I've ever seen...
and I've seen a lot of shows!

Aunts Mary and Brigid, with me and Meghan.

Little Meg and big Meg.
Seriously.  SO good!

Yee Haw!

Yes, I'm wayyyy behind again.

These are from back in Early June, celebrating Grandma's birthday.
Ride 'em cowgirl!
Happy Birthday Grandma!

Summer Days: June Edition

There are so many times during the school year that I am stressed out beyond belief
and feel totally overwhelmed and slightly depressed about how busy
and crazy our schedules are.

And then June comes...

Maeryn and I made a list of all of the fun things we want to try and do this summer.

We've made a pretty good dent in this list so far and even on days when we
are laying low at home, we are still trying to make the most of it
and do something we wouldn't normally be able to do duirng the school year.

Here are some of our more laid back days...
at Winghaven Library

Helping me "re-organize" the kitchen cabinets...

Swim lessons at Lake St. Louis pool

Good job Maer-bear!
He was so proud of his big sis.

Playing at our neighborhood pool - this is where we spend most of our days...

Park time - also a frequent activity!

Best Buddies!

Maer's first FORT!

Mani's and Pedi's at our favorite nail "salon".

More pool time.

Bakyard bubbles with Daddy.

It's been a nice relaxing start to summer, exactly what we needed
after a long stressful year.  We can't wait to check off the rest of our list
and make a ton more awesome memories together!

Soccer Heaven in Baseball Heaven

May 27th, 2013
Cheslea FC vs Man City at Busch Stadium in St. Louis
This was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever been a part of.
St. Louis is obviously a very big baseball town,
and as many people know it's also a huge soccer town.
When word got out about this game happening at Busch, the soccer community went CrAzY!
Tickets were sold out in less than 10 minutes...
Kevin and I scored box seats with some good friends,
Kevin Lord, Justin Clanton and Tommy O'Donnell.

The stadium was PACKED with soccer fans,
what an experience, it really was soccer heaven in baseball heaven!

Naptime!

Maeryn is actually really good about taking naps everyday.
She knows the routine and rarely puts up a fight...

She was especially good about it on this particular day:

Drewpy Drawers

Well, that's what us Kenney kids call him anyway...
Most of America looks at my brother Drew in a completely different way these days,
one of the "bloggers" on The Bachelor/Bach'ette forum called him "Drewl Worthy".  Oh Geez!

Anyway, we sure are having fun watching him on this season of the Bachelorette.
And regardless of what happens when this is all over or what anyone out there thinks,
we are TEAM DREW until the end,
and there's no one that supports him more than his family and friends do!

Here are a couple of Drew's modeling pics:

And pics from our Bachelorette Premier Party:
(Thank you Jessie Lord for taking some of these!)

Pre-Party Set Up

Soooo wierd seeing my brother on TV!
Don't think we'll ever get used to that...
So much fun though, everyone cheered and hollared whenever we saw him on the screen.
Team Drew St. Louis was loud and proud!
