We celebrated the Rite of Baptism with John McShane.

We learned during the ceremony that we are apparently supposed to celebrate

the anniversary of the baptism date every year (sorry Maer, this was news to us!)...

It was a beautiful day and we loved celebrating with family.

The ceremony was nice, but very long

(there were a total of 8 babies who were baptized that day).

Maeryn was up to her usual shenanigans... 

Johnny did so great!

Back at our house, Johnny slept through his whole party...

he woke up just as people started leaving,

 but he was just too crabby and HUNGRY to socialize!

Pops and the Pumpkin Patch

We had a great visit with Pops last weekend.

We were actually able to relax a little and just hang out!

Pops with his two grandbabies... I LOVE this picture.

During our down time, Maeryn wanted to play with her play-doh.

Later that day, we met up with Mary, Pat, Kevin and Drew at the Pumpkin Patch.

It was kind of a dark and cold day, but we still had a great time. 

It's the GREAT pumpkin Charlie Brown! 

She just loves her uncles.

It's only a matter of time before Maeryn knows more

about how to work my iphone than I do... 

she has definitely mastered how to use the camera.

(well, at least Johnny's face is centered)

I managed to steal my phone back for a few seconds,

so I could catch one of the two of them together too.

Apple Picking @ Eckert's Farm

We recently spent an awesome fall afternoon at Eckert's Farm.

There were so many fun things to see and do!

Maeryn's favorite was the pony rides! 

and of course, feeding the goats. 

Johnny's favorite was... oh wait, he slept the whole time! :-)

It's so nice to be able to spend this time together. 

Who knew... this girl loves apples! 

They were a perfect apple picking team! 

He'd point one out and she'd reach in and get it for us. 

The wagon ride was fun too! 

We ended the day with corndogs and a barnyard comedy show.

So much fun and we can't wait to do it again next year!

This Fall Maeryn has been practicing soccer with the Clantons.

Clearly, she takes it very seriously!
