Easter Fun 2012!

We had a great time on Easter Weekend this year!

Saturday was our next door neighbor, Olivia's 2nd birthday.

Build A Bear!

We went to Build A Bear with Grandma, PawPaw and Uncle Jim a couple months ago

because Jim gave Maeryn a gift card for Christmas.

(Yes, I know it is now late April... I'm a little behind!)

We went in empty handed and came out with our beloved Claer-Bear!

First we had to choose an animal - not as easy as you might think... 

Maeryn was hell-bent on getting a darn puppy, but who goes to "Build-a-Bear" and makes a dog?

Not us, and somehow we got sister to agree.

I'm sure this was a first for him, but he handled it like a champ!) 

Maeryn got to help stuff the bear (she also got to put a music charm inside the bear

so when you squeeze it's hand it plays the Justin Bieber song "Baby"!),  

She got to give her a bath, 

and get her dressed. 

The camera battery died after that but we had a great time and Maeryn LOVES her Claer-bear!



Countryshire Easter Egg Hunt

The people in our subdivision have worked hard this year to provide some

great family friendly events for all of the neighbors and the latest installment

was the 1st Annual Countryshire Easter Egg Hunt.

I just so happened to have a soccer game that day so I had to miss all the fun,

but I left Kevin in charge of getting Maeryn there and that included

getting her dressed and ready to go and taking pictures of the magical event! 

Can you guess what happened?

Yes, she was dressed and yes, he took pictures. 

But NO, she did not get her hair brushed that morning.... LOL!

Pretty sure she didn't care one way or the other and from what I can tell

everyone had a GREAT time!

Nice shot of his left foot.  ...gonna score a lot of goals with that thing! 

This one is a little tricky to decipher...

it is basically a picture from under his rear-end.

You can see the tailbone, femurs and YES that little mushroom in the middle is his boy parts! 

(I won't repeat what his grandfather Kenney had to say about them... LOL!)

Kevin and I were convinced that he would be completely outnumbered in a house full of girls,

so we were very surprised that this little man was in there!

After taking a few minutes to digest the news, we started getting sooo excited about

all of the awesome things this little boy will bring to our lives.

Maeryn is still not buying it... she still tells us she is having a baby sister named Maddie. 

Hopefully she won't be opposed to helping me shop for everything BLUE!
