Saturday morning we packed up Mal's car, said goodbye to Nana and Bob
and drove up North to Anaheim, to spend the day at Disneyland!
I have to admit the trip was initially for Maeryn, but I think we (the "big kids")
had just as much fun as she did. The crowds were ridiculous, but we did not let
it slow us down. We did and saw everything there was to see and do
and stayed until the fireworks show closed down the park.
Kevin hurt his ankle and knee earlier that week and had been
a trooper throughout all of the previous excursions...
for Disney we decided to get the big guy wheelchair.
Maeryn thought it was so cool that Daddy was riding in a stroller too!
The first thing we did was visit Sleeping Beauty's princess castle.
It was a little scarier than I remember it being and very cramped inside,
so Maeryn wasn't too crazy about it.
First ride: "It's a small world after all..."
Maeryn loved Toon Town!
We saw a bunch of the disney characters,
played in Goofy's Playhouse,
we took and tour of Mickey's house and movie studio
(here's mickey's laundry room!)
and we got to meet Mickey and have our picture taken with him!
Mal and Maer with her Mickey Ears
Buzz Lightyear!
We had a great spot for the mid-day Mickey Parade!
This was by far Maeryn's favorite part of the day.
Late in the day, no nap, and still smiling!
Here is Drew, Kevin and Mal going down Splash Mountain!
She finally crashed...
What a day...We all had a blast and were so glad we decided to go!
