PJ Party!

We had dinner with some our friends last Saturday,

and then went back to their house afterwards so the kids could play.

Towards the end of the night we put the kids in their PJ's

and they had the best time jumping and playing on the bed.

Spring Break 2011

We are doing spring break St. Louis style again this year...

We went to the park and had a picnic with the Peroutkas on Monday.

Here is Cara with (from left to right) Brody, Cade, Maeryn and Trey.

 Maeryn has so much fun playing with Cara's boys.

Trey is 4, Brody will be 3 in May and Cade is 7 months.

 On Tuesday, Maeryn and I went to the Butterfly House!

March is Blue Morpho month at the Butterfly House and they

recently released 3,000 Blue Morphos in to the observatory...

They were EVERYWHERE!

 Maeryn squealed everytime a butterfly got close to her,

and she had a little panic attack when one actually landed on her shirt!

Oh well, we'll try again another day...

 Wednesday was Zoo Day with the Peroutkas.

We've had a great week so far, it's so nice to spend some quality

time with my girl and we have had some awesome weather too!

Maeryn is all decked out for spring/summer and ready to get rollin'

with her trike and jeep.  Only a couple of problems with that...

The trike is still a little too big.  :-(

And she is fine with the Jeep, as long as it is stationary!

She has major issues with anything that actually moves.

Balloon Jungle!

At the Home and Garden Show in downtown St. Louis,

Maeryn had a ball checking out the awesome ballon jungle with trees,

monkeys, flowers and even a stream, all made from balloons!

Great Grandma's 90th Birthday

We celebrated Kevin's Grandmother's 90th Birthday

on March 5th, and it's official, Maeryn loves parties!

Maeryn-isms

Maeryn-isms are things that Maeryn says
that we just can't believe came out of her mouth,

or they are sayings that are just so cute that we have to share them. 

- While riding in the car, after I swiftly hit the brakes:

"Whooooaaa....  Be careful Mommy, don't break it!"

- Also riding in the car, after she sneezed and I failed to recognize it:

"Mommy! Bless You, Me..."

- In the middle of the night, talking in her sleep (while sleeping in our bed):

"I want Micky Mouse!"

- While playing with a balloon and apparently not getting enough attention: 

Look at me!

- In reference to a cone at soccer practice, to another coach:

"It's broken, fix it."

- While dancing to her second-cousin's singing frog toy:
"Shake your booty!"
